Most ranges sell lane time and lesson packs. We’re not a chain of owned ranges, and prepaid cards aren’t the main product. Rectitude is a community and activity system: shared coaching standards, outdoor practice as a defining focus, and room to grow into events, travel, and optional pathways. Membership is belonging—not a bundle of sessions. If you mainly want open practice lanes, a local range may fit better; if you want to stay and grow with people, start with a first session.
We prioritize Companion members and generally don’t offer a pure lane-rental model to non-members. Experience and practice run under coaching and clear safety structure. For long-term practice, community, and optional pathways, start with a first session and join the Companion community.
The Archer’s Mind is a ~90-minute experience for the Reinventors: live shots that surface focus, pressure, decision, and feedback—not team-building, not a leadership course. A standard first session is the doorway into the craft; membership is how you stay in the community. More on the Archer’s Mind page; choose that option when you book.
Adult US$30 / person / year; Youth US$15 / person / year (under 18); Family US$45 / household / year (up to 4 people).
Rectitude annual membership is not a package of archery lessons. It is how you join and support the community. The fee helps sustain our community, activities, and programs. Training and most activities are priced separately, and members take part according to each program.
Yes—US$15 per session for adult, youth, and family. About 45 minutes with a coach; gear on site. Beginners welcome.
So every session includes real coaching, ready gear, and a proper safety brief—not a rushed demo. If you join later, both sessions are credited together: Adult covers one year, nothing more to pay; Youth covers two years, nothing more to pay; Family, pay the difference.
Up to two. Most people know after one or two. If you want to stay, join as a member; training and activities then follow the member schedule. Not joining yet is fine.
Both sessions are credited together. Adult covers one year, nothing more to pay. Youth covers two years, nothing more to pay. Family: pay the difference.
No—it’s the individual rate for under-18s. For a household together, choose Family (up to 4).
No. Joining is membership in the community. Training and most activities are priced separately; some offer member rates and early registration.
Member-only programs (fees separate), community learning, and member rates or early access where offered. You get a club cap when you join; we share activity details afterward.
Join fees don’t cover individual programs. Each event has its own schedule and price—shared when signup opens; some have member rates. We’ll confirm details after you join based on what you want.
We generally don’t. Membership isn’t a prepaid lesson bundle. After you join, we can talk through fees and benefits that fit how you practice—ask once you’re in. Book a first session first so you know you enjoy it.
Yes. Each year you can refer either 1 adult or 2 youth (choose one); each referred guest gets one free first session (after we confirm the booking; details as published for that period). They still need to book and show up as arranged.
Yes—please do. Up to two sessions at US$15 each; join when it feels right. Both are credited together: Adult covers one year, nothing more to pay; Youth covers two years, nothing more to pay; Family, pay the difference. Not joining yet is fine.
Not at first—and we don’t recommend buying yet. Everyday sportswear is fine. Club bows and gear stay on site (use them, then return them). After you’ve practiced a while, coaches can suggest setup that fits you. Members may purchase club equipment, with setup and tuning support available, or choose equipment from elsewhere. We can advise you when you are ready to build your own setup. Specs and prices after you join.
No. Visits start with safety, stance, and a basic release. Many people can take part with appropriate instruction and equipment. Please tell us about any injuries, physical limitations, or concerns when you book.
Archery is a non-contact sport with relatively low physical impact. With proper range rules, protective equipment, and coaching, risks can usually be managed. Coaches also teach you how to avoid common form-related problems, such as string slap. No sport is risk-free.
Not with arrows—you need distance, a proper range, and clear line rules. Practice at club venues. At home, coaches may suggest form and stretch work without arrows. We are exploring selected equipment-free practice options for members—ask after you join.
No fixed schedule. About once or twice a week works well for most. Member programs open by calendar—we’ll share details after you join. Joining doesn’t include a set number of sessions.
Talent helps, but you don’t need it to start or to enjoy archery for years. With coaching and steady practice, most people build solid form, join club events, and keep it as a lifestyle. Going pro is rare and needs serious training—it isn’t the default for members. Interested? Talk to a coach after you join.
Open individual sessions are in Shanghai for now—where we can reliably staff coaching and safety, with outdoor and nature-oriented practice as a defining focus. Exact venue after you book. Elsewhere we run group and custom programs; members can join those as scheduled. Outside Shanghai? Leave a note—we’ll suggest what fits.
